Job summary

Marchant Recruitment supports a forward-thinking secondary school in Sudbury, Suffolk, in appointing a Computer Science Teacher to join the department on a full-time, permanent basis. The role covers KS3 and KS4, delivering programming, algorithms, data representation and computer systems.

The successful candidate will hold QTS or an equivalent qualification, bring solid CS knowledge, and be confident delivering practical lessons and GCSE preparation. Short notice start is available.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has strong Computer Science subject knowledge.
• Is confident teaching programming and technical concepts.
• Available to begin at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science across KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver programming, algorithms, data representation and systems lessons.
• Develop computational thinking and problem solving.
• Support GCSE preparation through practical activities and examination practice.
• Contribute to curriculum development and digital learning initiatives.
