London Tech Week is the UK’s flagship tech event, supporting UK and European tech on a global stage. It connects start-ups, scale-ups, corporate innovation, technology transformation, policy, and leadership. Supported by the UK government, it celebrated its 12th anniversary in 2024.
We collaborate with partners like Informa Tech Founders and Tech London Advocates to deliver this event. The Innovation Programme Manager oversees a portfolio of innovation events and engagement activities within the Innovation Programmes team. The role focuses on creating products for our partner ecosystem that align with their strategic priorities and serving as the project lead for London & Partners' involvement in London Tech Week.
This includes supporting colleagues to maximize engagement, fostering partnerships, and telling compelling stories internally and externally to generate opportunities for our clients. The person will manage London & Partners' involvement in London Tech Week, a major tech festival with 25,000 attendees each June.
Key responsibilities include:
Required skills include successful event planning, excellent communication, cross-team collaboration, community initiative management, project management, negotiation, and familiarity with Microsoft Office and Salesforce. Key competencies involve strategic communication, relationship building, proactive attitude, resilience, team leadership, and performance management.
