Job summary

Warwick Innovations, the technology and knowledge transfer office of the University of Warwick, invites applications for a Business Development Manager to drive the commercial exploitation of Physical Sciences and Chemical Engineering IP.

You will lead licensing, spinouts, and deals, engaging with academics and external partners, and contribute to income generation and societal impact.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in licensing agreements, spinout creation, or technology transfer.
• Ability to identify high-value opportunities generating income and impact.
• Skilled in building relationships with researchers, industry partners and stakeholders.
• Ability to evaluate technologies and markets to inform decisions.
• Strong negotiation and deal-structuring capabilities.

• Manage portfolio of technologies and relationships.
