Job summary

TEAM Inc., in Waterlooville, seeks an experienced Injection Moulding Technician to independently set up and optimise moulding machines. You will diagnose and resolve machinery, tooling and process faults, carry out tool changes, and adjust processing parameters to sustain quality and output.

Job description

This is a fast-paced, hands-on technical role requiring more than just machine setting and tool changes. You'll need to be confident diagnosing faults, resolving process issues and improving machine performance without constant supervision. What's in it for you?,

• Troubleshooting issues with robots, hot runner systems, mould heaters and ancillary equipment
• Monitoring machine performance, cycle times and production efficiency
• Supporting process improvements to reduce downtime, waste and quality issues
• Working closely with Production and Quality teams to resolve technical problems
• Supporting new product introductions, tooling trials and process development
• Maintaining accurate process records and supporting routine equipment maintenance
  We're looking for someone with strong technical knowledge of injection moulding processes who can confidently work independently, troubleshoot problems and keep production running efficiently., Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Technician or Process Technician
• Strong technical understanding of injection moulding machinery, materials and processing parameters
• Confident working independently in a fast-paced mouldshop environment
• Excellent fault-finding skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve process and machinery issues
• Experience identifying root causes of defects and implementing corrective actions
• Good knowledge of mould tooling, robots, hot runner systems and ancillary equipment
• Experience optimising processes, improving cycle times and reducing production downtime
• NVQ Level 3/Level 3 PTIC or equivalent qualification preferred
• Candidates without formal qualifications must have substantial hands-on injection moulding experience at technician level
• Scientific moulding/Design of Experiments (DOE) experience would be advantageous
• We're looking for someone who can do more than set machines – we need a confident, experienced technician who can take ownership of technical issues and keep production running smoothly.

• Salary up to 39,520 per annum, depending on experience and including shift allowance
• Monday to Friday - no weekends!
• 40-hour working week with a 30-minute paid lunch break
