Job summary

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are seeking an Injection Mould Tool Setter to join a busy manufacturing operation in Ilkeston (DE7). This role is day shift Mon-Fri with immediate start and a salary up to £33,000 depending on skills and experience.

You must have hands-on experience operating an injection moulding machine, with familiarity of BOY and/or Negri machines, and the ability to perform tool changes and set-ups to defined production instructions.

Qualifications

• Experience as an injection moulding setter
• Experience with BOY and/or Negri machines
• Willingness to work day shift and join a small, supportive team

Responsibilities

• Carry out tool, material and colour changes in an injection moulding environment
• Set up and operate BOY and/or Negri machines
• Recommend modifications to improve productivity and quality
• Be flexible to assist colleagues and follow production work instructions
• Ensure production standards and visual standards are maintained
