Injection Moulding Engineer Witney NIGHT SHIFT 4 On 4 Off GBP40,000pa plus GBP4k bonus & benefits:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Injection Moulding Engineer to join a well-established specialist manufacturer in the Witney area. You will be joining a 4 on 4 off night shift operation as the lead technical Injection Moulding Engineer taking on the responsibility for the production lines during the shift. This is a great opportunity for someone to really own the shift and mentor younger technicians.

On a day-to-day basis the Injection Moulding Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of injection moulded plastic parts. Oversee the entire production process, material selection to machine setup, process optimisation, and quality control. This role will involve troubleshooting issues, implementing improvements, and working with other engineering disciplines.

The successful Injection Moulding Engineer will need the following experience and skills:

• Minimum 10 years in a machine setting or production line operation.
• Experience of working with a high-volume manufacturing area with complex products.
• Experience of working in an environment which can become pressurised in line with production targets.
• Able to demonstrate personal success and leadership in the achievement of continuous, part or process improvement activities against a clear set of objectives.
• Proven track record of working with internal teams to ensure that production and quality targets are met.
• Proven ability to develop others through coaching and support.
• Qualified in plastic injection moulding tool setting.
• Mould Maintenance and Repair.
• Identify and highlight material issues to relevant level.
• Computer-literate, being fully conversant with MS Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Able to prioritise information and discern which materials are urgent from important.
