Job summary

Muzulu is seeking a dynamic Consultant to provide effective consultancy in Manufacturing processes within an ERP solution. You will engage with project teams and customers, helping to implement IFS Applications while ensuring alignment with industry best practices. This home-based role offers a chance to work autonomously and collaboratively, tackling diverse challenges in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience with IFS Applications (preferably Apps9 or Apps10) or equivalent.
• Industry experience in life sciences, engineering, or manufacturing.
• Full driving license and legal right to work in the UK.

Summary

Muzulu seeks talented and dynamic professionals to join our growing Consulting organization. You will be able to demonstrate effective consulting experience in Manufacturing processes delivered within an ERP solution.

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual with a natural ability to provide effective consultancy to project teams on small to large projects.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Deliver consultancy in Manufacturing Execution and Planning during an implementation of an IFS Applications-based ERP solution.
2. Understand and influence customer’s process requirements to align with best practices.
3. Write and deliver training to customers.
4. Liaise with the Solution Architect and Project Manager on solution details and progress.
5. Write specifications for customizations and modifications.
6. Perform solution and unit testing of the manufacturing solution.
7. Develop solutions that meet demanding customer requirements.
8. Document processes using various tools including process mapping software.
9. Stay updated on the latest functionalities and trends in manufacturing.

Skills & Knowledge

• Experience with IFS Applications (preferably Apps9 or Apps10) or equivalent ERP packages.
• Knowledge of MRP and other planning tools.
• Understanding of costing methodologies.
• Experience with shop order execution.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Visio.
• Additional beneficial applications: 2C8 Business Modelling, ClickLearn.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for training and workshops.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for creative solutions.
• Knowledge of industry best practices in ERP within manufacturing.

Education And Experience

• Experience with IFS Applications or similar ERP implementations.
• Over 2 years of ERP consulting experience.
• Experience working with management and demanding customers.
• Industry experience in life sciences, engineering, or manufacturing.
• Energetic, positive, goal-focused, and consistent under pressure.
• Ability to build trust and demonstrate integrity with customers.
• Effective communication within teams.
• Full driving license and legal right to work in the UK.
