Job summary

Shepley Spring is recruiting an Injection Moulding Operative (Days) to support high-speed production of plastic components at our Shepley site. You will operate moulding machines, perform quality checks, handle materials, and maintain hygiene and safety standards as part of a collaborative production team.

The successful candidate will follow SOPs, assist technicians during start-ups, keep accurate records, and strive to reduce waste while meeting production targets in a 4-on 4-off day rotation.

Qualifications

• Experience in injection moulding is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
• Ability to work safely within a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate injection moulding machines in line with SOPs and schedules.
• Carry out routine quality checks on moulded parts.
• Remove, inspect, count, pack and label products accurately.
• Monitor machine performance and report anomalies to supervision.
• Support start-ups, changeovers, cleaning and routine maintenance.
• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping across workstations.
• Complete production, quality and downtime records promptly.
