Job summary

ASC Connections Ltd is recruiting an experienced Injection Moulding Toolmaker to join a leading plastics manufacturing business. The role involves manufacturing, assembling and maintaining injection mould tooling, using conventional toolroom machines in a precision engineering environment.

You will read and interpret technical drawings, perform bench fitting, assembly and modifications to ensure tools meet tight tolerances. A time-served Toolmaker with tooling experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Time-served Toolmaker with extensive experience in injection mould tooling.
• Experience manufacturing and assembling mould tooling to tight tolerances.
• Able to interpret detailed technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Machining components to high standards using a range of conventional toolroom machinery.
• Manufacturing complete mould tools and modular tooling systems in various steels/alloys.
• Assembly, fitting and bench work of mould tooling components.
