Job summary

Michael Page is assisting with the recruitment of a Training Advisor for a major infrastructure project near Ipswich. The role focuses on coordinating training plans, ensuring compliance, and maintaining competence across the workforce to ensure project readiness.

You will liaise with internal teams and external providers to organise training activities, monitor expiries, and produce reports for stakeholders. CIPD Level 3-5 or equivalent experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Co-ordination of training plans aligned with mobilisation and delivery schedules.
• Liaison with external training providers to organise and validate activities.
• Monitor training compliance, qualifications and certification records.
• Identify gaps, risks and upcoming expiry of certifications.
• Provide guidance to managers on training and competence requirements.
• Produce training and compliance reports for stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of training processes and documentation.
• Maintain audit-ready training records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training plans per project mobilisation and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate external training providers and validate training activities.
• Track and report training compliance, qualifications and certifications.
• Identify gaps and upcoming expiries; advise on mitigations.
• Guide managers on training/competence requirements.
• Prepare reports for stakeholders on training status.
• Drive improvements to training processes and systems.
• Keep training records accurate and audit-ready.
