Job summary

Digital Waffle in Southampton is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Systems Engineer to own 3rd line infrastructure within a predominantly Microsoft environment.

The role covers Azure, Office 365, Google Workspace, and cloud-based projects including remote office setup. You will mentor colleagues, work to ITIL standards, and lead infrastructure initiatives to make a real difference.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Microsoft-based infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Azure, Office 365 and Google Workspace.
• ITIL knowledge; ITIL accreditation is an advantage.

Job description

We are looking to recruit an experienced Infrastructure Systems engineer. This will be broad role in which you would be capable of providing 3rd line infrastructure in a predominantly Microsoft architecture including. Familiarity with Azure and a good knowledge of Office 365 and Google Workspace would be an advantage. You should also be able to be the technical lead on Cloud based infrastructure projects which will include the set up of new remote offices.

In this role you will be a key technical infrastructure lead in an organisation were there are opportunities to make a real difference. In addition to your technical capabilities the ability to act as a technical mentor to less experienced colleagues. You will also be used to working to ITIL standards with an ITIL accreditation being an advantage.
