Job summary

Arthur Recruitment is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for a London-based hybrid role. You will own a cloud-focused infrastructure estate, primarily across Microsoft Azure, Entra ID and Microsoft 365, with responsibilities spanning IaC, IAM and vulnerability management.

The position requires hands-on Azure expertise, RBAC design, PowerShell scripting and experience with Microsoft 365 workloads. London/WFH hybrid arrangement is offered, with three days in the London office.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure and Entra ID in enterprise settings.
• Experience designing scalable IAM solutions (RBAC, access recertification).
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting and Windows Server administration.

Responsibilities

A growing Insurer are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of a cloud-focused infrastructure estate, working primarily across Microsoft Azure, Entra ID and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Engineer:

• Managing the deployment and ongoing operation of cloud infrastructure
• Designing, developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Improving infrastructure monitoring and alerting
• Managing and improving Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Strengthening vulnerability management and reducing remediation times
• Providing technical support and guidance across infrastructure-related issues
• Working with third-party cloud providers to improve service and support
• Keeping up to date with cloud and infrastructure technologies and best practices

Essential skills of the of the Infrastructure Engineer:

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure, Entra ID and Windows Server
• Enterprise experience designing scalable IAM solutions, including RBAC and access recertification
• Experience across Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Intune and SharePoint Online
• Scripting experience, ideally PowerShell
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of technical problems
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience

Desirable skills of the Infrastructure Engineer:

• Identity Governance platforms such as SailPoint or Saviynt
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code within an enterprise environment
• Tenant integration/federation as part of mergers or acquisitions
• Basic MSSQL troubleshooting and SQL queries
• Agile and Waterfall delivery environments

Location: London/WFH hybrid – 3 days per week in London office
