Job summary

Adria Solutions Ltd is seeking an Infrastructure Support Engineer in the UK to join a growing IT team. You will provide first and second-line IT support, configure devices for new starters and manage user accounts across Microsoft 365, Azure AD and Active Directory.

Work includes maintaining core IT infrastructure, networking, backups and security updates, with exposure to VMware, Windows environments, Google Workspace and PowerShell. A customer‑focused, proactive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous IT support or IT infrastructure experience.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory.
• Solid networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs and VLANs.
• Experience supporting Windows desktops and business IT infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-line IT support to users across the business.
• Manage, prioritise and resolve IT support tickets, escalating where appropriate.
• Configure and deploy laptops, desktops and mobile devices for new starters.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including user accounts and permissions.
• Maintain and support core IT infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment and office technology.
• Administer user accounts across Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory and Google Workspace.
• Monitor and troubleshoot networking issues including VPN connectivity, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VLANs.
• Maintain IT asset registers, hardware inventory and documentation.
• Support backups, security updates and system maintenance.
• Help improve IT processes, documentation and day-to-day operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an IT Support or IT Infrastructure Support role.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs and VLANs.
• Experience supporting Windows desktop environments and business IT infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple support requests.
• Experience using IT helpdesk or ticketing systems.
• Desirable: Google Workspace administration.
• Desirable: VMware.
• Desirable: Veeam Backup & Replication.
• Desirable: PowerShell scripting.
• Desirable: Linux administration (Ubuntu, Rocky Linux or similar).
