Oliver Bernard is recruiting for an Infrastructure Support engineer in London for a hedge fund/FinTech environment. The role focuses on 2nd/3rd line support for sophisticated trading applications and requires solid experience in supporting and improving complex trading software.

You will work with Development, Quant and DevOps teams to implement improvements, fixes, deployments, and automation, ensuring robust production systems and efficient incident response.

Qualificações

• Experience in an Application Support / Support Engineering role.
• Ability to work with demanding clients and manage releases.
• FinTech, FS and/or SaaS experience preferred.
• Coding skills to fix bugs and troubleshoot.
• Experience supporting and improving complex applications.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for trading applications.
• Collaborate with Development, Quant and DevOps teams on improvements and bug fixes.
• Manage new code deployments and drive automation and DevOps initiatives.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production environments to ensure uptime.

Infrastructure Support - Hedge Fund - £100K+

Our client is a growing trading and financial technology (FinTech) firm, based in central London.

Operating in private equity markets, they build innovative, in-house, software for trading and investment management and are growing their Support and Application Engineering team.

You’ll be involved in client-facing 2nd and 3rd support, working on complex, sophisticated, trading applications.

You’ll worked closely with Development, Quant and DevOps teams to build and implement improvements and bug fixes, manage new code deployments and drive automation and DevOps.

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar Application Support / Support Engineering position
• Ability to work with demanding clients, supporting applications and delivering releases
• FinTech, FS and / or SaaS experience
• Coding experience to be able to fix bugs and troubleshoot
• Experience of supporting and improving applications
• Good Infrastructure and networking understanding
• Experience of monitoring and automation
• DevOps and Cloud (Azure) knowledge is ideal
