Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex, critical infrastructure to ensure connectivity and protection 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician provides administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working in a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  • Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  • Action Service Requests.
  • Allocate/despatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
  • Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  • Coordinate traffic management, liaising with providers, regional control, and field resources.
  • Communicate with customers about network incidents.
  • Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.
Who you are:

Experienced in supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Good communication skills, capable of liaising at all seniority levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
