Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Technology Infrastructure Strategy Lead to drive the enterprise infrastructure strategy and multi-year roadmaps. You will shape priorities, translate strategy into concrete transformation initiatives and prepare executive materials for Exco leadership.

In this role you’ll own the operating rhythm, track delivery, manage dependencies and work with Transformation & Change to plan investments.

Qualifications

• Shaping infrastructure strategy, roadmaps and transformation plans.
• Knowledge of compute, storage, databases, cloud and hybrid operating models.
• Experience with on-premise infrastructure and data centres.
• Ability to track delivery, dependencies, risks and benefits across portfolios.
• Confidently produce strategy papers and leadership updates for Exco level.
• Investment planning, budget management and spend transparency.
• Analytical, data-driven decision making and risk management.
• Ability to align diverse stakeholders and accelerate decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual and multi-year strategy cycle for Enterprise Infrastructure, defining the vision, priorities and strategic roadmaps.
• Translate Group Technology and business strategy into clear, actionable infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• Develop high-quality executive materials, including strategy packs, decision papers and leadership updates.
• Own the leadership team’s operating rhythm, including regular reviews, strategic deep-dives and governance forums.
• Track delivery of critical portfolio priorities, identifying dependencies, bottlenecks, risks and decisions needed to maintain momentum.
• Partner with Transformation & Change and the Chief Operating Office to support investment planning, budget management and spend transparency.
• Assess infrastructure capacity and capability requirements, supporting workforce planning and resource-allocation decisions.
• Drive productivity, simplification and continuous improvement across processes, tooling and organisational design, while building alignment across senior stakeholders.
