Job summary

Set2Recruit is helping a London-based MSP recruit an Infrastructure Solutions Engineer to lead complex client infrastructures and drive strategic IT projects. You will own 3rd-line support, mentor junior engineers, and ensure high standards of security and reliability while delivering outstanding client outcomes.

Based in London with a hybrid pattern (2 days WFH), the role offers 40 hours per week, and opportunities for professional development within a fast-paced creative IT services

Qualifications

• Experience working for an MSP in a project delivery focused role is essential.
• Strong server and cloud infrastructure expertise.
• Experience leading 3rd-line support and client-facing projects.
• Mentoring junior engineers and documenting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level 3rd-line support for server environments, virtualization, networking, cloud services, and security.
• Lead end-to-end infrastructure projects, including migrations, virtualization deployments, cloud solutions (Azure), and network upgrades.
• Work with clients to understand needs and guide technical implementations.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure best practices and quality.
• Design and implement security measures and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Document configurations, solutions, and troubleshooting steps with client-facing reports.
