Job summary

Mace is seeking a talented Project Manager to join our Infrastructure team in North-West England. You will lead the day-to-day delivery of a major capital programme, coordinating clients, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

You’ll manage project governance, risk, and reporting, champion safety and sustainable delivery, and drive digital delivery initiatives across the programme.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering construction or infrastructure projects in a client-facing environment.
• Experience in project lifecycle management from inception to completion.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Knowledge of governance, controls and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day management and delivery of projects from inception to completion.
• Develop, maintain, and update project plans, programmes, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate project teams, consultants, contractors and stakeholders to deliver agreed outcomes.
• Monitor budgets, costs, schedules, risks and project performance against milestones.
• Support procurement activities including appointment and management of consultants and contractors.
• Manage governance, reporting, change control and project documentation.
• Lead project meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress, safety and quality standards.
