Job summary

Mace is seeking a delivery-focused professional to support enabling works across major infrastructure projects in the South-East region. You will work with the Site Delivery Lead to drive strategy, coordinate scope, and manage land access, third-party requirements, and planning consents.

Strong governance, risk management and NEC scope experience are essential. The role requires an engineering/construction background with preference for infrastructure experience.

Qualifications

• CIOB/APM or equivalent qualification required.
• 5–10 years experience on major programmes or projects.
• Enabling Works experience; highways/rail/environmental mitigation experience preferred.
• Engineering/Construction background preferred.
• Infrastructure experience preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Delivery Lead in delivering enabling works strategy.
• Coordinate scope development across enabling works packages.
• Align land access and third-party requirements with delivery plans.
• Manage planning applications and consent conditions.
• Track access to land parcels and approvals.
• Monitor budgets and programme performance.
• Oversee design management and NEC scope development.
• Identify risks, opportunities and constructability improvements to optimise delivery.
