Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Facilities Management Project Manager to lead infrastructure projects at HMP Northumberland. The role focuses on safe, on-time delivery, budget control and strong stakeholder management within a 24-month FTC.

You will oversee lifecycle replacements, capital projects and contractor performance, ensuring compliance with CDM, building regs and ISO standards, while supporting the wider FM team.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering facilities management or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and project governance.
• Good understanding of UK Building Regulations.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple stakeholders.
• Proven leadership and people management experience.
• Project management qualification (PRINCE2/APMP or equivalent).
• IOSH/NEBOSH with risk assessment knowledge.
• Strong commercial awareness with budgeted projects.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of infrastructure projects at HMP Northumberland.
• Support lifecycle replacement, capex and client-led improvement projects.
• Ensure delivery safely, on time, on budget and to quality standards.
• Oversee contractor performance and health & safety compliance.
• Carry out quality inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain records of assets and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Monitor progress and report risks and performance.
• Onboard suppliers through Sodexo's vendor process.
• Promote safety culture and safe systems of work.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and deputise for Head of Client Infrastructure Projects.
