Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Planner to join the team supporting essential water infrastructure projects in the Anglian Water region. Based in Peterborough with regular travel across the Anglian Water area, you will develop and maintain robust programmes to drive successful project delivery.

You will work with project managers, construction teams and other stakeholders, ensuring plans reflect site conditions and project constraints, while contributing to reporting, risk management and continuous

Qualifications

• Organised, analytical and collaborative mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in planning within construction, civil engineering, infrastructure or utilities.
• Ability to analyse complex information, identify issues and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Developing, maintaining and updating project programmes from tender through close-out.
• Understand construction methodologies, sequencing, resource requirements and delivery constraints.
• Monitor progress against programmes, identify delays and opportunities to improve performance.
• Support identification and assessment of programme risks, dependencies and critical-path activities.
• Prepare clear programme reports for reviews and decision-making.
• Validate progress with site teams and reflect actual site conditions.
• Support tender submissions, project schedules and planning documentation.
• Contribute to project controls, change management and impacts of scope changes.
• Build relationships with clients, supply chain partners and internal teams.
• Promote proactive planning, continuous improvement, health and safety and quality.
