Location: Slough, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom (Remote)

We are recruiting an Operations & Maintenance Engineer to work on Highways England Contracts, focusing on maintenance and commissioning activities in your designated area, including the top of M25, M4, M11, and bottom of M1, A14, M40, A1(M).

Responsibilities:

• Attending cable breaks and repairing copper and fibre cables to maintain network functionality.
• Completing all commissioning activities to standard, on time, and within budget.
• Addressing equipment issues within Transmission Buildings and Roadside Cabinets, day or night.
• Performing general maintenance and testing on fibre and copper equipment.
• Documenting all tasks accurately and timely.

Candidate Profile:

Previous experience in a similar role is required, with familiarity in fault finding and testing in fibre or copper environments.
