Operations and Maintenance Engineer

Based in Slough, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom (Remote work available), this role involves maintaining and commissioning telecommunications infrastructure, primarily on Highways England Contracts, including the M25, M4, M11, M1, A14, M40, and A1(M).

As part of the field team, you will ensure the delivery of maintenance, installation, cabling, and civils works, supporting the nation's critical infrastructure to stay connected and protected 24/7.

Responsibilities:

• Attending to cable breaks and repairs on copper and fibre optic cables.
• Completing commissioning activities to standard, on time, and within budget.
• Addressing equipment issues in Transmission Buildings and Roadside Cabinets, day or night.
