Job summary

Ridge & Partners Llp is seeking a senior Civil Engineer to lead and grow the civil engineering discipline, focusing on infrastructure for large-scale residential developments, highways, drainage, utilities, and water sector projects. You will guide schemes from masterplans to detailed designs, driving sustainable water management.

You will develop client relationships, manage teams and resources, and ensure technical excellence while delivering projects to budget and schedule.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Chartered Engineer (or near Chartered).
Proven experience in infrastructure design for residential/mixed-use developments and water sector projects.
Strong technical knowledge of highways, drainage, utilities, and water management.
Ability to communicate complex solutions clearly to clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and grow the Civil Engineering discipline.
Deliver infrastructure and residential development projects (highways, drainage, utilities, water).
Develop and maintain client relationships; identify new opportunities.
Drive business growth through new and repeat clients.
Manage resources and deliver projects to financial targets.
Ensure compliance with technical standards and planning requirements.
Represent Ridge at external meetings with clients, authorities, and stakeholders.
Oversee project profitability, budgets, and fee negotiations.
Build and lead technical teams using internal and external resources.
Champion technical excellence within Civil Engineering.
