Job summary

COWI A/S invites motivated Civil Engineering students to join as a Summer Intern, offering exposure to highways, drainage and civil infrastructure projects. You will support engineers, prepare drawings and calculations, and apply engineering fundamentals while learning from experienced professionals in a global consultancy.

Office/home hybrid working is available with a focus on collaboration, development plans, and progression opportunities within a leading engineering group.

Qualifications

• Completed a minimum of 2 years in either a bachelor's or master's degree, in Mechanical Engineering or a related subject (BEng, BSc, Meng, MSc).
• Good problem-solving skills and creative/technical thinking are essential.
• Evidence of research and information gathering skills is expected.
• Interest in engineering within Infrastructure or Energy markets is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of highway and drainage infrastructure.
• Assist with technical drawings, calculations and design documentation.
• Apply academic engineering fundamentals to contribute to projects.
• Gain practical experience in a global consultancy.
