Job Description

As an Infrastructure Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Technology Infrastructure team, you will have the opportunity to lead the development, automation, and operational stability of Microsoft 365 services across the enterprise. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure our collaboration platforms are robust, secure, and continuously improving, enhancing employee productivity and reducing operational risk.

Job Responsibilities
  • Engineer and maintain resiliency capabilities for Microsoft 365 services with a focus on automation, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and other automation tools to support monitoring, alerting, and self-healing capabilities across M365 workloads.
  • Design and maintain integrations using Microsoft Graph API and modern development frameworks to ensure continuity and recoverability of M365 services during disruptions.
  • Configure and harden Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) with a focus on high availability, secure app registrations, conditional access policies, and hybrid identity scenarios that support failover and disaster recovery.
  • Implement and troubleshoot OAuth 2.0 authentication flows with an emphasis on secure, fault-tolerant access for enterprise applications, ensuring minimal impact during outages or credential-related incidents.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and continuous delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions.
  • Support incident response and post-mortem analysis for M365-related outages or degradations.
  • Contribute to proof-of-concepts and pilot initiatives that improve platform resiliency and performance.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Formal training or certification on Microsoft 365 concepts and proficient applied experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Microsoft 365 administration and configuration
    • Microsoft Teams setup, governance, and app integrations
    • PowerShell scripting for automation and monitoring
    • Microsoft Graph API for custom integrations
    • Entra ID (Azure AD), app registration, and identity management
    • OAuth 2.0 and secure authentication practices
  • Experience supporting large-scale, hybrid M365 deployments with a focus on uptime and performance.
  • Familiarity with incident management, change control, and operational best practices in enterprise environments.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Familiarity with modern development frameworks such as React.js, Node.js, Java, C#, Python, Java OR .NET.
  • Microsoft certifications such as:
    • MS-900 (Microsoft 365 Fundamentals)
    • MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator)
    • SC-400 / SC-401 (Information Protection and Compliance / Identity and Access Administrator)
  • Experience with monitoring tools, logging frameworks, and observability practices.
  • Exposure to cloud-native application design and serverless computing.
  • Passion for building inclusive, diverse, and high-performing teams.
