Redgate is seeking an Infrastructure professional in Cambridge to manage on‑prem and cloud environments, covering networking, virtualization and storage. You will own local networks and contribute to automation journeys across Windows and Linux platforms.

Role emphasizes scripting (PowerShell preferred), monitoring, and reliable incident response. Hybrid work arrangement is offered with a focus on security, reliability and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Experience designing, operating or supporting traditional infrastructure (networking, virtualization, storage).
• Scripting to automate tasks and improve repeatability.
• Troubleshooting infrastructure across network, compute, storage and OS.
• AI fluency to diagnose problems with AI tools.
• Good judgement balancing stability and automation.

Responsabilidades

• Own Redgate’s local networks, including WiFi, switches, firewalls and internet connections.
• Use scripting to automate tasks and reduce manual effort; monitor and back up systems.
• Act as escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents and work with vendors.
• Evaluate build vs. buy decisions and cloud vs. on-premise choices.
• Collaborate across teams to standardize and improve infrastructure services.
