Job summary

IC Resources is supporting a growing deep-tech organisation in need of an experienced Infrastructure Engineer. You will operate across Linux, bare-metal compute, cloud and containerised environments, with a focus on Kubernetes and infrastructure automation.

You will support high-performance or compute-intensive workloads, including GPU/CPU compute, storage and networking, with exposure to HPC clusters and workload scheduling, and contribute to scalable, reliable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux infrastructure experience is required.
• Experience with bare-metal server and compute environments.
• Kubernetes and containerised infrastructure experience is essential.

Job description

IC Resources is supporting a growing deep-tech organisation looking to strengthen the infrastructure underpinning its engineering and R&D environment. We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer comfortable working across Linux, physical compute, cloud and containerised environments, with a particular interest in engineers who have supported high-performance or compute-intensive workloads.

Key experience

• Strong Linux infrastructure experience
• Bare-metal server and compute environments
• Kubernetes and containerised infrastructure
• Terraform / Infrastructure-as-Code
• Public cloud infrastructure – ideally GCP or AWS
• Infrastructure automation
• Networking and storage
• CPU and/or GPU compute environments
• Troubleshooting across physical and virtual infrastructure
• Supporting engineering, scientific or compute-intensive workloads
• Experience with HPC clusters, workload scheduling, GPU infrastructure or research/engineering compute environments would be particularly valuable.
• We're interested in speaking with engineers coming from HPC, scientific computing, semiconductor/EDA, AI infrastructure, research computing or complex enterprise infrastructure environments.
