Job summary

WRITER is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join a rapidly growing AI platform. Based in London or NYC, you'll own reliability across the stack, automate tasks, and improve on-call practices to support enterprise-scale workloads.

You'll work across SRE, DevOps, and platform teams, applying first-principles reasoning, building resilient infrastructure, and advancing AI-enabled workflows with tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, and Python or Go.

Qualifications

5+ years in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or similar; built and operated large-scale, high-availability systems.
Production containerisation experience (Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform/Pulumi) on AWS/GCP/Azure; Python or Go for automation.
AI-enabled workflows and agentic tooling in daily development.
Ability to reason from first principles and make reliability-driven tradeoffs.
Design reversible changes; plan rollbacks and monitor systems.

Responsibilities

Own reliability, performance, and efficiency of core services end-to-end.
Balance short-term fixes with long-term platform direction.
Collaborate across product, security, and engineering to ensure scalable, reliable infra.
