Job summary
WRITER is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to own the reliability and performance of our enterprise-grade AI platform. This hybrid role can be based in London or New York, reporting to the Director of Engineering.
You will build scalable infrastructure, automate across the stack, and lead incident response to keep clients' AI-powered workflows online. You will design fault-tolerant systems across AWS/GCP/Azure, champion SRE best practices, and collaborate with product, security, and platform
Qualifications
- 5+ years in infrastructure engineering, DevOps or similar at a high-growth product company.
- Production containerization with Kubernetes, on one major cloud (AWS preferred).
- Automation with Python or Go; AI-enabled workflows in daily CI/CD.
- Strong incident response and post-mortem experience.
- Ability to balance reliability, velocity and cost with principled decision making.
Responsibilities
- Own reliability, SLOs and on-call for core services end-to-end.
- Lead incident response, post-mortems, and root-cause analyses.
- Design scalable, fault-tolerant infra across AWS, GCP, Azure.
- Champion automation and AI-assisted workflows across the stack.
- Collaborate with product, security and platform teams to align infra agenda.
