Job summary

Lyst is building a scalable platform in London to handle tens of millions of requests daily. We seek a Platform Engineer to own deployment, automation and security across our data and infra platforms.

You will optimize tooling, monitoring and collaboration with engineering teams to accelerate product delivery. You will work within a collaborative squad, leveraging Terraform, Docker, GitHub Actions, Argo CD and Kubernetes to maintain a fast, reliable, and secure platform.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying and managing AWS resources (EKS, EC2, ECS, RDS, ElastiCache).
• Knowledge of data stores: PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, DynamoDB.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).

Responsibilities

• What you will be working on: Deploy code for 200+ apps and services using Terraform, Docker and GitHub to enable engineers.
• Automate infrastructure management and tooling for declarative configuration and observability.
• Scale the platform to handle billions of requests with Cloudflare, AWS and Kubernetes.
• Monitor performance and deliver actionable insights with ELK, Grafana and New Relic.
• Drive ownership of infrastructure and costs with tooling, visibility and documentation.
• Ensure security standards and automated access controls across pipelines and deployments.
