Job summary

Pertemps Tm in Hertfordshire is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer on a permanent basis to deliver civil engineering designs and drainage modelling across residential, education, commercial and regeneration projects.

You will work with clients, contractors and authorities to obtain approvals, producing detailed designs and reports with a strong focus on drainage design and SuDS.

Qualifications

• Strong technical report writing and communication skills.
• Experience with drainage design software tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Preparing outline & detailed civil engineering designs and drawings in accordance with the relevant design standards.
• Working collaboratively with clients, contractors and the supply chain to understand and develop project objectives.
• Liaising with stakeholders, statutory and local authorities to obtain relevant approvals.

• Preparing outline & detailed civil engineering designs and drawings in accordance with the relevant design standards

• Liaising with stakeholders, statutory and local authorities to obtain relevant approvals.

• Degree in Civil Engineering or suitable alternative qualification
• Experience across residential, education, commercial, development and regeneration projects
• S104 & S185 Drainage Design & Technical Approval
• Pavement Design & Specification
• Detailed Drainage Design & Modelling including SuDS
• Strong technical report writing and communication skills
• Proficient in the use of drainage design software - Causeway Flow or similar
