Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd is seeking a Civil Engineer for its flagship London Office. This permanent role sits within a team of drainage, highways and development infrastructure specialists, supporting major residential developers.

The role offers hybrid/flexible working and clear progression toward directorship within the company. You will guide juniors, liaise with clients, and develop drainage and level strategies while handling planning documents and due diligence for land

Qualifications

• Post-graduate or equivalent experience in civil engineering.
• Experience in pre-planning and planning stage projects with a solid design understanding.
• Knowledge of S104, S38, S278 or similar approvals.
• Skilled in MicroDrainage and AutoCAD; Civils 3D beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support junior team members, delegating and checking work to meet deadlines and deliverables.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders, prepare fee proposals, manage projects, and support business development.
• Develop Concept and Detailed Drainage Strategies.
• Develop Levels Strategies and oversee Earthwork Appraisals production.
• Produce Planning Documents such as Flood Risk Assessments/Drainage Technical Notes and Utilities Statements.
• Undertake Due Diligence reviews to support land acquisitions.

We re recruiting for a Civil Engineer within our client s busy flagship London Office. This new permanent role, in our team of drainage, highways and development infrastructure specialists, will support our expanding client base of predominantly large residential developers.

This consultancy has been dominating the Civil Infrastructure industry for 20 years, currently across multiple UK offices they have 80 skilled specialists involved in extensive and varied development experience within their team. Their experience spans a range of transport planning, infrastructure, flood risk services, noise and vibration and air quality and odour.

You ll be joining a team who are specialists from initial feasibility stage, through planning and detail design, to the construction stage. With a heavy involvement in the residential and commercial sectors you ll grow as an Engineer and be given the opportunity to develop throughout the company to Director.

The role

• Guide and support junior members of the team, delegate and check work, ensuring deadlines are met and we maintain the high-quality of our deliverables

• Produce Planning Documents such as Flood Risk Assessments/Drainage Technical Notes and Utilities Statements
• Undertake Due Diligence reviews to support the purchase of land

What you need to succeed

• Significant post-graduate (or equivalent) experience
• Experience in pre-planning and planning stage projects, as well as a good understanding of detail design and technical approval (S104, S38, S278, etc)
• Skilled in MicroDrainage and AutoCAD, plus an understanding of Civils 3D would be beneficial
• A sound technical ability and excellent communication skills
• A drive to develop both themselves and others.
