Job Description:
- We are seeking a proactive and experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing and fast-paced Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Central London. This is a varied role that requires a strong foundation in Azure, networking, and virtualisation, along with a client-focused mindset. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a wide range of client infrastructures, delivering high-quality IT solutions, and taking ownership of technical projects across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support and maintenance of client infrastructures, including servers, networks, cloud services, and security systems.
- Design, implement and manage infrastructure solutions across on-premises and cloud environments (primarily Microsoft Azure).
- Support and troubleshoot issues across diverse client setups, including Windows Server environments, virtual machines, and network infrastructure.
- Take part in infrastructure projects such as cloud migrations, system upgrades, and deployments.
- Liaise with clients to understand technical requirements and deliver tailored, effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records in the ticketing system, including updates, escalations, and resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and data protection regulations.
- Provide occasional on-site support to clients in and around London, as required.
Technical Skills & Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and Intune.
- Experience with Cisco networking (routing, switching, firewalls).
- Virtualisation technologies: Hyper-V, VMware, and Azure VMs.
- Solid experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Batch, or Bash.
- Hands-on experience with cloud migrations and hybrid environments.
- Hardware troubleshooting, builds, and server maintenance.
- Previous experience in an MSP environment is highly desirable.
