Job summary

VIQU IT is seeking a Senior Azure & Terraform Infrastructure Engineer to join a major enterprise in Warwickshire. This hands-on role focuses on delivering infrastructure transformation in a predominantly Azure-based hybrid environment.

You will design, build and support Azure infrastructure using Terraform, work across the wider hybrid stack, and take ownership of platform improvements.

Qualifications

• Azure infrastructure design and deployment using Terraform.
• Experience in Azure Networking, Compute and Storage.
• Hands-on experience with Entra ID / Azure Identity.
• Knowledge of Landing Zones and platform architecture.
• Hybrid Azure / on-prem environments with VMware vSphere.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and implement Azure infrastructure with Terraform.
• Develop reusable Terraform/IaC solutions.
• Deliver Azure platform modernization and Landing Zone migrations.
• Manage Azure networking, compute, storage, identity and security.
• Support and improve Azure/on-prem hybrid connectivity.

Warwickshire | Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote | 5-Month Contract

VIQU is seeking a Senior Azure & Terraform Infrastructure Engineer to join a major enterprise customer in Warwickshire.

This is a hands-on Azure Infrastructure engineering role, with Terraform and Azure experience being essential. You'll be responsible for delivering infrastructure transformation, automation and platform change across a predominantly Azure-based hybrid environment.

We're looking for someone who can design, build and support Azure infrastructure using Terraform, while also being comfortable working across the wider hybrid environment.

The Role

You'll play a key role in the ongoing transformation and modernisation of the customer's hybrid infrastructure, with a strong focus on Azure, automation and Infrastructure as Code.

You’ll be expected to operate at both a technical and delivery level - getting hands-on with the technology while taking ownership of infrastructure changes and platform improvements.

• Deliver Azure platform modernisation and Landing Zone migration.
• Manage Azure networking, compute, storage, identity and security services.

• Lead infrastructure change across enterprise production environments.
• Troubleshoot complex Azure and hybrid infrastructure issues.
• Support VMware vSphere/ESXi and Windows Server environments where required.
• Work with Architecture, Security and Engineering teams to deliver platform improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of technical issues.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, standards and technical designs.
• Candidates must be based in or near Warwickshire and able to work onsite 3 days per week.
