Job summary

Cadogan Solutions is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer on a 12-month fixed-term contract in the UK. The role covers Microsoft 365 platform, Azure hosting and VM environments, and SharePoint administration.

You will review Conditional Access and manage Zscaler remote access, with some Meraki networking involved. This hands-on position offers autonomy and the chance to own projects, improve environments, and contribute to integration work in a growing professional services firm.

Qualifications

• Solid Microsoft 365 platform expertise.
• Experience supporting infrastructure in a mid-sized or larger organisation.
• Broad infrastructure background rather than a narrow specialist focus.
• Able to work independently and drive improvements.
• Exposure to monitoring tools and best practice alerting/dashboarding.

Responsibilities

• Join a lean infra function and own projects from inception to delivery.
• Work across Microsoft 365 platform, Azure hosting, and SharePoint administration.
• Review and clean up Conditional Access policies.
• Manage Zscaler remote access and web filtering.
• Handle Meraki network infrastructure and related tasks.
• Operate hands-on with autonomy and contribute to M&A‑related work.

Location - Birmingham, Belfast or Croydon. Typical expectation is 2 days per week in the office.

A growing professional services organisation is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support a busy internal infrastructure team through a period of expansion and integration work.

The role

You’ll join a lean infrastructure function working across:

• Microsoft 365 at platform level
• Azure hosting and virtual machine environments
• SharePoint administration
• Conditional Access review and clean-up
• Zscaler remote access and web filtering
• Some Meraki network infrastructure

This is a hands‑on role with plenty of autonomy. You’ll be trusted to take ownership of projects, improve existing environments, and help tackle a growing pipeline of infrastructure and M&A‑related work.
