Duties
  • Support the engineering team in building reliable, scalable applications.
  • Help design and build tools to make our services scalable and highly available, automating wherever possible.
  • Collaborate on monitoring and managing our fleet of deployments by developing and deploying observability and orchestration tooling.
  • Contribute to disaster recovery, backup and redundancy activities.
  • Assist in improving the quality of our codebase by building new tools and processes.
Requirements
Essential
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar technical field.
  • 3-5 years of hands‑on experience.
  • Experience with either Python or Golang.
  • A curiosity about areas like databases, observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana) or infrastructure automation.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP (or the willingness to learn!).
  • A understanding of container tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI / CD systems (e.g. Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
Desirable
  • Exposure to production systems.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as a code such as Terraform.
