Infrastructure Engineer – at Mobius Networks

About the role:

As part of the IT team at Mobius Networks, the Infrastructure Engineer is crucial in maintaining and enhancing both internal IT infrastructure and customer-facing IoT networks. This role involves designing, implementing, securing, and supporting critical systems to ensure seamless operations. It is vital in delivering and maintaining IT services for internal teams and customer operations.

Key responsibilities:

1. Deliver projects and solutions related to the IT Infrastructure (internal and customer facing)
2. Manage, maintain, and optimize IT Infrastructure for critical services (internal and customer facing)
3. Implement changes and upgrades for the IT Infrastructure and customer IoT Network
4. Proactively monitor and enhance cybersecurity posture for all IT Infrastructure services
5. Create, maintain, and adhere to documented policies, processes, and procedures
6. Collaborate with Mobius Mobile Network Operators on service implementation and improvement as required
7. Provide support to internal users and end customers
8. Monitor and respond to incidents, both minor and major (internal and customer facing)

Key Experience & Skills:

• Windows Server: 2016, 2019, 2022+
• Cisco Networking: Configuration of Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
• Network Management & Monitoring
• VPN Implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting: IPSec and SSL VPN setups
• Disaster Recovery: Backup and recovery solutions management
• Operating Systems and Virtualization: Linux, MS Windows Server, Hyper-V, VMware
• Microsoft Office 365
• Scripting & Automation tools
• Backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Acronis)
• Network monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG)
• Antivirus & Endpoint Detection and Response
• Web & email filtering
• Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Firepower, others beneficial)
• Managed Wi-Fi solutions (Cisco Meraki)
• Two-factor authentication (RSA, Authenticator apps)
• Data Leakage Prevention (DLP)

Desirable skills:

• CCNA or CCNP certification
• RADIUS experience: Steel-Belted RADIUS, FreeRADIUS, or nuRADIUS
• Basic knowledge of MS SQL database management
• Experience with security appliances, filtering solutions, RSA authentication, and DLP
• SIEM solution exposure
