Job summary

Experis Austria is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Capability Manager to join our client, a global organisation, on a permanent basis. You will drive senior technical leadership across the Core Infrastructure domain, coordinating with Principal Architects and Engineers to set standards, patterns and roadmaps.

You will own standards, mentor engineers, participate in Design Authority, arbitrate technical disputes, and help recruit the right talent.

Qualifications

• Senior technical leadership across infrastructure in a government-facing environment.
• Consultancy or systems integrator delivering services into Government.
• Proven people leadership and team development.
• SC Cleared with DV capability would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership and strategic direction for the Core Infrastructure domain, working through Principal Architects and Engineers to set standards and patterns.
• Own and maintain technical standards, reference architectures and approved patterns across all teams and accounts within the domain.
• Hold accountability for the performance, development and progression of engineers within the capability.
• Represent the domain within Design Authority and contribute to cross-capability technical coherence.
• Provide technical arbitration where expert opinion is divided or decisions carry material risk.
• Lead recruitment decisions for technical roles within the domain, defining requirements and assessing suitability.

• Experience gained within a consultancy or systems integrator, delivering services into Government
• Proven senior technical leadership experience across infrastructure
• Strong people leadership experience, with a track record of building and developing technical teams
• SC Cleared (able to obtain DV)
