Job summary

Experis Austria is recruiting for a global client in the UK for an Infrastructure Capability Manager to lead the Core Infrastructure domain on a permanent basis. The role focuses on setting standards and providing strategic direction through Architects and Engineers.

Requirements include senior infrastructure leadership, consultancy/SI experience, and (DV-eligible) SC clearance. The post emphasizes recruitment, governance, and cross-capability coherence within a dynamic organisation.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership and strategic direction for the Core Infrastructure domain, working with Principal Architects and Engineers to set standards and patterns.
• Own and maintain technical standards, reference architectures and approved patterns across all teams and accounts within the domain.
• Hold accountability for the performance, development and progression of engineers within the capability.
• Represent the domain within Design Authority and contribute to cross-capability technical coherence.
• Provide technical arbitration where expert opinion is divided or decisions carry material risk.
• Lead recruitment decisions for technical roles within the domain, defining requirements and assessing suitability.

In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:

• Experience gained within a consultancy or systems integrator, delivering services into Government
• Proven senior technical leadership experience across infrastructure
• Strong people leadership experience, with a track record of building and developing technical teams
• SC Cleared (able to obtain DV)
