Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain robust infrastructure and storage solutions.
• Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Puppet, and Ansible.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability by monitoring key service health metrics.
• Manage virtualization environments and containerized platforms for workload deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and compliant IT operations.
• Perform system hardening and encryption following security best practices.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Utilize log ingestion and monitoring tools to analyze and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Document configurations, procedures, and technical processes clearly and concisely.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems such as Ubuntu, CentOS, or RHEL.
• Strong experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
• Expertise in configuration management tools like Puppet and Ansible.
• Proficiency with orchestration tools such as Terraform.
• Familiarity with DCIM/IPAM tools like NetBox.
• Experience with log ingestion and analysis using OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Filebeat, Syslog, and Graylog.
• Hands-on experience with containerization platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Virtualization experience with VMware 7.x environments.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Proficiency with databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Experience with web/application servers like Apache or NGINX, and WSGI.
• Understanding of service health metrics and monitoring systems.
• Experience in deploying secure infrastructure and practicing system hardening.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Desirable Skills (Nice to Have):

• Familiarity with SIEM solutions and security event correlation.
• Experience with data replication, backup, and recovery strategies.
• Palo Alto Firewall administration experience.
• Scripting skills in Bash and Python.
