Job summary

Jersey Electricity is seeking a Meter Technician to install, maintain, and commission advanced metering systems on domestic and commercial properties across Jersey. You will diagnose faults and ensure accurate billing data to support a reliable energy network.

The role is on-site with a focus on fault finding, system commissioning, and ensuring data quality for energy services.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical knowledge with proven experience in distribution and/or metering.
• C&G Level 3 in Electrical Distribution or an equivalent qualification.
• Up-to-date knowledge of BS 7671 (18th Edition).
• C&G 2391 Testing & Inspecting qualification.
• Experience with IT communications systems such as Network+, WAN/GPRS technologies.
• Excellent analytical and fault-finding skills.
