Umicore in Dundee, a global advanced materials group, is seeking a Technical Business Development Manager for the Infrared coatings and filters market. You will manage key accounts, drive profitable revenue growth, and strengthen customer partnerships across multi-level organisations.

The role requires market analysis, strategy development, and close collaboration with technical, engineering, and manufacturing teams to translate customer needs into compelling value propositions.

Qualifications

• University degree in science, engineering, commercial sciences or business administration.
• Experience in sales or business development in manufacturing B2B, preferably optics.
• Strong communication and technical sales skills with numerical affinity.
• Familiarity with production processes and cost drivers.

• Own and grow the sales pipeline and convert new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain commercial and technical relationships with customers.
