Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller at the Modeller to Associate level to develop and apply InfoWorks ICM models for wastewater networks within the UK context. You will analyse data, support investment decisions, and contribute to client reports and project outcomes.

The role involves delivering engineering solutions, risk assessments, and sustaining technical leadership across projects while collaborating with clients, contractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in urban drainage modelling using InfoWorks ICM, ideally within the UK regulated water industry.
• Proficiency with GIS platforms such as ArcGIS or MapInfo.
• Background in civil engineering or experience delivering engineered solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop InfoWorks ICM models to investigate wastewater network issues and plan investments.
• Analyse datasets to support modelling, option development, and decision-making.
• Provide expert guidance to clients on asset investment decisions and solutions.
• Contribute to preparation of reports and project deliverables.
• Prepare and follow health and safety risk assessments.
• Assist in tender responses and fee estimates (at higher grades).
• Supervise and mentor staff to support professional development.
• Contribute to technical innovation within the team.
