Location: Portsmouth, UK

Contract Duration: 22 August 2025 – 24 October 2025

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance Required – Only candidates with current SC clearance will be considered

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Migration Support Technician to assist with a major hardware refresh project. The role involves supporting a smooth device migration process for end users, working closely with the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager to coordinate device movements, assist users, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and manage the Refresh Clinic for device migrations.
• Transport devices from onsite storage to the Refresh Clinic as needed.
• Assist users with system logins and laptop refreshes.
• Distribute new devices and collect old ones according to the migration schedule.
• Update the workflow management system accurately at each step.
• Report and escalate issues during migration.
• Perform daily manual stock checks and report findings.
• Ensure secure packaging and storage of devices for disposal or refurbishment.
• Lock and secure all equipment at the end of each day.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience in IT support, device migration, or technical refresh projects.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow structured processes and meet deadlines.
• Experience with workflow management systems.
• Good problem-solving and issue reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must hold an active SC clearance to qualify for this role.
