Contract Division Lead – Tech Recruitment - Northern Powerhouse

Based in Leeds (LS1), hybrid with three days in office. Own the North with scope to grow into London or other markets through your network.

You’ll inherit a profitable desk, a high-performing team and a blank canvas to scale. Collaborate with the permanent team to cross-sell contract solutions, open new markets and take the division to new heights.

Think billing leader with strategic vision and the hunger to shape something lasting. The path to Associate Director is clear - you just need to take the first step.

What You’ll Actually Do

Lead from the front: bill, mentor and set the tone.

Scale the team: grow from two to four and beyond with a clear, profitable strategy.

Develop talent: coach high-performing recruiters and shape future leaders.

Own the numbers: full P&L responsibility and freedom to drive commercial success.

Collaborate to dominate: maximise client value by aligning with the permanent division.

You Are

A seasoned tech contract recruiter (data, DevOps, change/transformation preferred).

A player-coach - equally effective billing and leading.

Commercially switched-on with P&L as your scorecard for success.

Hungry to build a legacy, not just run a desk.

Tech-literate and AI-curious - not intimidated by new systems.
