Role Summary:

We are seeking a Project Support Officer to assist in the delivery of a major transformation programme focused on the migration of native radio services to DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting), and the development of a new companion mobile application.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager and the wider Project Management Office(PMO), liaising with technical teams, external partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination:
  • Support the planning, scheduling, and tracking of project milestones for the transition of radio services to DAB and the development of associated digital platforms.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal departments (engineering, legal, marketing) and external stakeholders (DAB transmission partners, app developers, vendors), arranging and minuting meetings, gathering requirements, and coordinating responses.
  • Documentation Management:
  • Maintain and update project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, issue logs, change requests, and status reports, ensuring all documentation meets audit and compliance standards.
  • PMO Support:
  • Assist the Project Manager in maintaining governance frameworks, reporting cycles, and ensuring project controls are adhered to across workstreams.
  • Risk and Issue Tracking:
  • Monitor project risks and issues, escalate where appropriate, and contribute to mitigation planning.
  • Communication and Reporting:
  • Prepare project updates and communications for steering committees, stakeholder briefings, and internal reporting purposes.
  • App Development Support:
  • Coordinate with UI/UX designers, development teams, and testing groups to align the app development lifecycle with project timelines and deliverables.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that project activities adhere to company policies, DAB industry standards, data protection laws, and technical quality requirements.
  • Budget and Procurement Assistance:
  • Support procurement processes by gathering quotes, managing vendor onboarding paperwork, and assisting with basic budget tracking.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience supporting digital transformation, broadcasting, or IT-related projects (preferably in a radio, media, or technology environment).
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with DAB migration projects, digital platforms, or app development (desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and project management software (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana, MS Project).
  • Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile) desirable.
