IT Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a driven IT Manager to oversee and improve our IT systems across the business. This key role involves managing group-wide IT strategy, maintaining infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with Cyber Security standards including Cyber Essentials.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide responsive, high-quality IT support across all UK locations.
2. Drive continuous IT system improvements and updates across the group.
3. Lead and maintain Cyber Security accreditations including Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
4. Implement, enforce, and maintain IT policies, standards, and processes company-wide.
5. Monitor, administer, and proactively maintain infrastructure and critical systems.
6. Transition legacy applications from on-premise to modern SaaS platforms.
7. Manage Microsoft 365 environment, including security, device management, and document control.
8. Support Windows Server, Active Directory, LAN/WAN, and endpoint security operations.
9. Oversee IT procurement, vendor relationships, and budgeting.
10. Collaborate with software teams and adapt to evolving technological needs.

Your Skills and Experience:

1. Experience in IT Management, with background in IT Engineering or Support roles.
2. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and LAN/WAN networking.
3. Proven ability to secure and maintain Cyber Security accreditations (mandatory: Cyber Essentials; preferred: ISO 27001/SOC 2).
4. Deep familiarity with Microsoft 365 and some exposure to ERP systems.
5. Tenacious, resilient, and goal-oriented with excellent communication skills.
6. Comfortable working with technical teams and translating strategic IT goals into actionable plans.
