Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service is seeking an IST Trainer to deliver digital skills training and support staff development at the Joint Training Centre. The role focuses on shaping digital excellence and enabling agile, inclusive learning across the organisation.
You will design and refresh e‑learning materials, collaborate with departments, and identify training needs. The position combines office‑based work with some travel, and requires relevant teaching qualifications and ICT experience.
Position: Information, Systems & Technology (IST) Trainer
Contract Type: Temporary to 14 February 2027
Salary: Grade F Salary £37,280 per annum (pay award pending)
Location: Joint Training Centre
Hours: 37 hours per week, however you may occasionally need to work beyond normal office hours. Agile working arrangements can be discussed with the successful candidate.
