Job summary

Talantir is seeking an Information Security Executive to lead day-to-day information and cyber security activities for a banking environment. The role focuses on monitoring, incident management, risk assessment, and compliance across data, networks and systems.

The ideal candidate will drive security improvements, collaborate with IT and business units, and ensure alignment with ISO27001, PCI-DSS, NIST and FCA/PRA expectations. AWS cloud security experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Academic qualification or equivalent certifications in information or cyber security.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of cybersecurity methodologies.
• Practical experience with security operations, monitoring, and incident management.
• Knowledge of ISO27001 or relevant security frameworks is desirable.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud security and cloud-native security practices is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts across the organization.
• Act as the primary point of contact and coordinate incident responses following established protocols.
• Support regulatory notifications and vulnerability risk assessments.
• Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities.
• Maintain security records, dashboards, and reports to provide insight into the security posture.
